Conventional mueslis mostly consist of simple cereal flakes, while our Bärkeim mueslis are made from sprouted seeds and flakes.
But how does that actually work, and what are the health benefits?
In the first step, our seeds and flakes are soaked in water, thus initiating the germination process.
Soaking up water stimulates the germination metabolism of the plant - this increases the nutrient content contained in the seed and grain, while at the same time largely breaking down substances that are difficult or impossible to digest.
When our seeds are in the germination stage, this process is "stopped" by gentle drying, and all valuable vitamins, nutrients and minerals are 100% preserved.
Germination also provides enzymes that optimally support your digestion and your body.
Additionally, the germination process breaks down phytic acid - which normally forms indigestible components from the nutrients it contains.
In summary: What makes DATTELBÄR's Bärkeim muesli so valuable and special?
-
Sprouted muesli has a better mineral and nutrient content - especially the content of magnesium, potassium and calcium is significantly higher than in conventional mueslis.
-
During germination, new, essential amino acids are formed, thereby increasing the biological value of the seeds and the grain.
-
Sprouted muesli is very suitable for people with gluten intolerance.
