Coconut-banana shake with spirulina and dates

Ever heard of spirulina? Isn't that the blue-green algae that's supposed to be incredibly healthy, but doesn't taste very good to many people? Exactly! And with this recipe, we've now found a way to incorporate this magical wonder powder into a super delicious shake.

What you need:
for 1 shake 500mL
- 1 ripe banana
- 3-4 Sukkary dates (extra soft dates work best) or 1 tbsp date paste
- 100 ml coconut milk (preferably organic)
- 1 heaped teaspoon of organic spirulina powder (organic is essential, as spirulina easily penetrates the cells to cleanse them; we don't want to introduce any contaminated powder)
Preparation:
1. Chop the banana and dates into small pieces, or break the date paste into small pieces so that the blender can process it better.
2. Place banana and date pieces in the container with coconut milk and spirulina, add drinking water until the total volume is 500 ml.
3. Blend and enjoy :-)
