It's so easy to make healthy cake pops yourself!

Cake pops have become a staple at parties. The cake on a stick was popularized by its inventor, Angie Dudley. The term "cake pop" is a combination of the English words "cake" and "lollipop." The idea is to create a cake that can be eaten like finger food.

With this recipe, DATTELBÄR wishes you a wonderful Mother's Day!

You will need:

  • 10 Medjool dates
  • 1 tsp cashew butter per variety & piece
  • 1 tsp almond butter per variation & piece
  • chopped pistachios
  • 1 teaspoon of raw cacao per date
  • 1 bar of vegan chocolate
  • 1 tsp coconut oil

And here's how it works:

  1. Carefully cut open the Medjool dates and remove the stone.
  2. Option 1 : Mix 1 tsp of cashew butter with chopped pistachios and gently press into the date.
Option 2 : Mix some raw cacao with 1 tsp almond butter and gently press into the dates.
  3. Melt vegan chocolate with 1 tsp coconut oil and coat the dates with it. Variation 1: Sprinkle with chopped pistachios.
