It's so easy to make healthy cake pops yourself!
Cake pops have become a staple at parties. The cake on a stick was popularized by its inventor, Angie Dudley. The term "cake pop" is a combination of the English words "cake" and "lollipop." The idea is to create a cake that can be eaten like finger food.
With this recipe, DATTELBÄR wishes you a wonderful Mother's Day!
You will need:
- 10 Medjool dates
- 1 tsp cashew butter per variety & piece
- 1 tsp almond butter per variation & piece
- chopped pistachios
- 1 teaspoon of raw cacao per date
- 1 bar of vegan chocolate
- 1 tsp coconut oil
And here's how it works:
- Carefully cut open the Medjool dates and remove the stone.

Option 1 : Mix 1 tsp of cashew butter with chopped pistachios and gently press into the date.
Option 2 : Mix some raw cacao with 1 tsp almond butter and gently press into the dates. - Melt vegan chocolate with 1 tsp coconut oil and coat the dates with it. Variation 1: Sprinkle with chopped pistachios.
Option 2: with grated orange zest.
Feel free to add coconut flakes or other colorful superfoods.
