Apple Cake with Date Paste


But hello! Organic, raw, vegan, regional, gluten-free, free of refined sugar and healthy, full of vitamins, trace elements, minerals and fiber. We have a recipe for you this Sunday that meets some of these criteria. Apples are also in season in winter because they are easy to keep. Apples used to be one of the few sources of fresh fruit that, when stored well in the cellar, would last until spring.

RECIPE FOR VEGAN APPLE CAKE
FREE FROM REFINED SUGAR AND GLUTEN
Floor
- 100g ground almonds
- 100g ground millet
- 100g pureed DATTELBÄR dates (EXTRA SOFT quality) or DATTELBÄR date paste
- some nut milk
- 1/2 packet of baking powder
- 3 tablespoons psyllium husks

- 50g coconut flakes
- 40g ground millet
- 1-2 tbsp DATTELBÄR date syrup
- 4-5 tablespoons melted vegetable butter
- Cinnamon

- apples or fruit of your choice
How it works

Mix the almonds and millet one after the other in a high-performance blender until they form flour.

Mix with date paste or blended dates , baking powder and psyllium husks and carefully add milk.

Mix the dough, knead it and put it into a greased springform pan.

Place the apple slices on top

Knead the coconut flakes, ground millet, date syrup , cinnamon and vegetable butter into crumbs.

Pour over the apples and bake at 180° for about 40 minutes.

Tip: The millet can be replaced with any gluten-free flour.
