No-bake treats – super easy, super quick and super delicious!

Original recipe by @feastingonfruits - a variation by Linda Gröbl with our DATTELBÄR Sukkary dates!

This is what you need for about 15 balls:

5 tbsp DATTELBÄR date paste or

5-6 pieces DATTELBÄR EXTRA SOFT dates

1 tbsp raw cocoa powder (or deoiled cocoa powder)

1-2 tablespoons coconut flour or lupin flour

1 tbsp coconut, cashew or almond butter (whichever you prefer)

a pinch of vanilla or a little vanilla extract

a pinch of salt

Buckwheat grains – which we lightly roast in coconut oil, cocoa, cinnamon and salt and then coat the balls with. Alternatively, you can also use coconut flakes – either as they are or lightly roasted.

    And here's how it works:

You can either roast the buckwheat grains in a pan or on a baking tray in the oven. The whole process takes a maximum of 10 minutes, so the more practical option using a pan is recommended. Roast over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the grains (or coconut flakes) are lightly brown.

You can make more of this delicacy right away, as it also tastes delicious in smoothie bowls.

    For the brownie mixture:

Combine all ingredients, except the buckwheat grains, in a high-speed blender or food processor and mix until well combined.

If the mixture is too sticky for you, simply add a little more coconut or lupin flour.

Form small balls from the mixture and roll them in your toasted buckwheat grains or coconut flakes.

Then try one right away because the chocolate craving is calling :-) - put the rest in the fridge because the taste and texture are simply even better after they have been chilled.

We wish you good luck and happy eating!
