Banana bread with dates vegan & sugar-free

It's time again for a new vegan recipe in DATTELBÄR Recipe Blog. Since I have loads of bananas at home that are really ripe and delicious, today I'm making banana bread with dates. Ripe bananas are important for this recipe. You can tell when they start to get black spots on the skin. Then they're ready to eat.
RECIPE: BANANA BREAD WITH DATES
FREE FROM REFINED SUGAR & VEGAN
recipe for a loaf pan

You need:
- 4 ripe bananas
- 80 g coconut oil or another cooking oil
- 80 g DATTELBÄRS date syrup
- 250 g organic spelt flour
- 10 g baking powder
- Cinnamon
- Vanilla
- 50 g vegan chocolate, chopped
- 50g DATTELBÄRS dates, chopped , or organic date paste
How it works

Preheat the oven to 170°C

Mash the bananas (with a potato masher) and mix them with oil and date syrup.

Add flour, baking powder, cinnamon, vanilla and mix everything

Fold in chocolate and dates

Put everything in a loaf pan and bake for 50 minutes. (Towards the end you can cover the cake with aluminum foil so that it doesn't burn)
