Are you still looking for a quick and delicious recipe for the Advent season? Then our gingerbread pralines are just what you need!

DATTELBÄR is giving you an exclusive, quick and easy recipe from our DATTELBÄR recipe book !

 YOU NEED:

  • 150g almonds
  • 250g date paste
  • 1 tsp gingerbread spice
  • 4 tablespoons raw cacao powder
  • 3 drops of orange oil
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • Optional: 1-2 tablespoons of water

FOR THE FILLING:

  • whole almonds

AND THIS IS HOW IT WORKS:

To make the pralines, finely grind the almonds in a high-performance blender, add the date paste and mix everything together.

If the mixture is still too dry, add 1-2 tablespoons of water until it becomes slightly sticky. Next, add the remaining ingredients and mix well.

Form small balls from the praline mixture, flatten them, fill them with an almond, wrap the mixture around it and form another ball.

You can either enjoy the chocolates immediately, store them in the refrigerator or freeze them.

If you freeze your chocolates: To allow the sweetness of the dates to fully develop, let them thaw briefly before eating.
