This popular breakfast spread is a healthier version of the well-known hazelnut-nougat spread. Made with just three ingredients: dates, raw cacao, and nut butter, without refined sugar or unhealthy fats!
Unlike sugar, which offers no added value, dates are truly healthy, providing many nutrients such as magnesium, calcium, enormous amounts of potassium, iron, various vitamin groups, and much more, thus making your chocolate-nut spread a real breakfast star.
You will need:
- 200 g date paste
- 3 tablespoons almond or hazelnut butter
- 3 tablespoons raw cacao powder
- Optional: some water
Here's how:
Place all ingredients in a tall bowl and blend with an immersion blender until creamy. Transfer the cream to a glass jar and store in the refrigerator.
