Datteln und Frauengesundheit (Teil 1) - DATTELBAER Datteln und Frauengesundheit (Teil 1) - DATTELBAER

Many thanks to Martina Müllner, MA Holistic Women's Health thanks for this exciting guest post!

In my work with women, I try to combine my knowledge and experience from Eastern medicine and the teachings of Ayurveda. And I am constantly amazed at how much these two approaches go hand in hand or complement each other.

This also applies to women's health and nutrition - in both cases, the following things are essential for a woman's health and fertility:

good digestion
good and sufficient blood (body fluids)
Prana, Ojas and Qi

One of the foods that probably best supports and nourishes these points is the date.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Ayurveda, dates have long been considered a remedy and can make an important contribution to women's health:

on the one hand, tonifying blood, Qi and Yin
on the other hand, particularly promoting Ojas

"Ojas is the seed behind all nourishment."

Ojas or Yin are the innermost, most sacred bodily fluids and the basis for well-being.
They ensure healthy blood, a good radiance, and beautiful skin.
Dates support clarity, fertility, and strength.

If both are overtaxed and depleted by stress, anger and frustration, too much pressure and responsibility, little or bad sleep, unconscious lifestyle and unhealthy diet, we lack vitality and age faster.

What symptoms can occur?

fatigue
low blood pressure
general paleness and sallow complexion
dry skin
Hair loss, dry or brittle hair
brittle fingernails
Light sensitivity and dry eyes
scanty or absent menstrual bleeding, irregular intervals
infertility
low libido
Sleep disturbances and disturbances
inner restlessness during the day and at night
Feelings of weakness
Tension
Indigestion
Vitamin B12 deficiency

What can organic dates do for you in your diet right now?

Dates nourish Ojas and Yin
Besides the importance of Ojas, Yin and blood represent, so to speak, the "cooling fluid" in the body.
If it's in short supply, then you're metaphorically "running hot".
Dates help you build up all three bodily fluids by having a very nourishing and toning effect.
