In my work with women, I try to combine my knowledge and experience from Eastern medicine and the teachings of Ayurveda. And I am constantly amazed at how much these two approaches go hand in hand or complement each other.

Organic dates as a nutritional boost!

For desert dwellers, dates remain one of the most important sources of nutrients, and this alone makes it clear why organic dates are so valuable for us women:

  • Organic dates have a high content of B vitamins, which have a calming effect on the nerves and are a healthy food for the nerves in stressful situations.

  • They also promote good sleep.

  • Other important nutrients it contains include: calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, zinc, copper, and plenty of iron and vitamin C.

  • In order for our body to absorb the iron properly, it needs B vitamins and a source of vitamin C.

  • So it's fortunate that the organic date contains everything.


Organic Dates & Yoga

While organic dates contain virtually no fat, they consist of up to 70% sugar by weight. Nevertheless, their calorie content is lower than that of sweets or nuts. Organic dates therefore have an enormous nutritional value and provide a quick energy boost.

Organic dates are therefore excellent for yogis and athletes!
They do not burden your stomach or your digestion and provide you with healthy energy, Chi and Prana, vitamins and minerals for your yoga practice.

Organic Dates & Pregnancy

During pregnancy, organic dates strengthen our uterine lining and also support you during childbirth - they give you energy, soften the cervix, and the opening phase can be more successful.

Recommendation: Enjoy a few organic dates daily, starting several weeks before birth. Their combination of nutrients and their effect on the blood also make them the ideal snack for every phase of your cycle.

Organic dates as an aphrodisiac

Especially in the Orient, organic dates are considered a truly sensual food: they provide energy, boost libido, and thus enhance sexual pleasure. Organic dates offer an incredible range of flavors and can therefore be incorporated into both sweet and savory recipes. They often play an important role alongside saffron and pomegranate. A delight for all the senses!

Organic Dates & Digestion

Organic dates strengthen and stimulate your spleen Qi, and therefore also your digestion. Anything that benefits digestion also has a positive effect on your skin. In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), the skin is directly related to the Metal element and digestion.

Health and a strong immune system are therefore prerequisites for beautiful skin.

But beware: Even organic dates, if consumed in excess, can quickly cause dampness, toxins, and weight gain due to their moisturizing effect!

So next time you use dates for baking or sweetening, you'll know that you're also doing a lot for your health as a woman. Especially if you consciously enjoy them as true beauty and soul food <3.
