Who wouldn't want to grab some right away? Our lovely DATTELBÄR fan Angelika conjured up these sweet Red Love Bites from our dates. :-))
The small dried fruits inside these bright red date pralines are rich in magnesium, copper, manganese, and selenium, making them a superfood for a strong immune system. Dates also contain vitamins A and K. Vitamin A protects the eyes, nourishes our skin and mucous membranes, and even protects our lungs.
What you need:
- 200g Medjool dates
- 50 g ground almonds
- 50 g rolled oats
- 30 g sunflower seeds
- 2 tsp cocoa powder
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 pinch of clove
- 1 pinch of sea salt
- 40 g coconut oil (melted)
- 2 tbsp almond butter
For browsing:
- 15 g dried raspberries
And here's how it works:
- Pit the dates and cut them into small cubes. Place them in a food processor or chopper along with all the other ingredients.
- Blend everything until a smooth paste forms. Scoop out small portions with a teaspoon and shape them into balls. This works best with moistened hands.
- Chop the dried raspberries into a fine powder using a food processor. Roll the balls in the powder.
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
